Incentives being offered by developers and builders
First to go will be Lend Lease’s luxury furniture and interior design offer for its Convesso Concavo apartment project
in Melbourne’s Docklands, which expires on April 30.
The developer is offering gift vouchers ranging in price from $15,000 to $60,000 depending on the type of apartment. Luxury harbourside apartments range in price from $465,000 to $3.15 million.
Up until May 13, Stockland is offering to triple the $13,000 Victorian first-home bonus to $39,000 for first-home buyers in five of its residential communities,
taking the total incentive when the first-home owners’ grant is included to $46,000. The residential communities that qualify are Highlands, Mernda Villages, Eucalypt, Selandra Rise and Arbourlea.
Other incentives being offered by developers and builders include:
- In WA home builders Bluprint Homes and nuhomes in conjunction with St George Bank are offering a $2,000 cashback for the first 25 home buyers who sign up to build a new home by June 23 with either building brands and take out a home loan with St George Bank.
- Also in WA, the WA Housing Centre is offering to triple the first-home owners’ grant to $21,000 on some of its Perth residential communities
- Also in WA Dale Alcock homes is offering for a limited time a $32,000 bonus package including ducted air-conditioning, wall painting and floor coverings
- In Queensland, Coral Homes is offering a $22,000 discount on two-storey Eclipse homes and $15,000 off single-storey Eclipse homes as well as $81,400 worth of luxury inclusions as standard items.
